Located on the outskirts of the historic village of Alcáçovas, in the heart of the Alentejo and near Évora, Herdade da Burquilheira is surrounded by the tranquillity and beauty of the Alentejo landscape.
At the heart of the estate lies Monte da Burquilheira, a country house surrounded by nature, with 360º views over the landscape and the peace and quiet that define the Alentejo countryside.
Carefully restored, Monte da Burquilheira preserves the architecture and traditional features of an Alentejo farmhouse, offering an authentic rural stay in the Alentejo.
Amante olive oil
Amante Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from our 12 hectares of Picual olive groves, planted in 2012 in the heart of the Alentejo. Under the Alentejo sun, our olive trees have grown in harmony with the surrounding nature and landscape.
Produced with great care, this Portuguese extra virgin olive oil is made from Picual olives harvested in mid-autumn and grown in our certified organic olive grove*. The result is a pure and authentic olive oil, deeply connected to the land from which it comes.
