In this retreat you can learn free-form modeling and different ceramic decoration techniques and/or various painting techniques, such as: gouache, watercolor, oil or acrylic painting. All our ceramic pastes are natural Portuguese pastes. You have at your disposal canvases of different sizes and different types of paper. Outdoor painting is encouraged.

Silver Water Aqueduct
The Aqueduto da Prata in Évora is one of the most notable works carried out in the city in the first half of the 16th century. It extends for around 18 km, from the city of Évora to Herdade do Divor, where it supplies water. Most likely built over the old Roman aqueduct, the civil character of the construction was enhanced by some sections of undeniable artistic and urban impact.

Intangible Cultural Heritage
The Portuguese hocalho is an instrument with a single internal clapper, usually hung from a leather strap around an animal's neck. It is traditionally used by shepherds to locate and control their flocks, creating an unmistakable sound in rural areas.
In Portugal, the town of Alcáçovas is the main centre for the manufacture of cowbells and its inhabitants are proud of this heritage.

Almendres Cromlech
This archaeological site is made up of several megalithic structures: cromlech, menhir and stones.
Composed of 95 monoliths, the main menhir is located at the top of the slope. Covering a wide chronological range, from the Middle Neolithic to the Iron Age – that is, from the end of the 6th to the beginning of the 3rd millennium. a. C..

Arraiolos Rugs
Arraiolos rugs are rugs embroidered with wool on jute or cotton canvas, traditional to the village of Arraiolos, in Portugal. The oldest references to the Arraiolos rug-making technique date back to the end of the 15th century.
The route passes along the old railway line that connected Évora to Arraiolos.
